Ethiopia
Sun Biofuels initiated its operations in 2005 and operates a 5000 hectare plantation of which 1000 hectares are planted. The site is a centre for research and development where the company is conducting a range of trials as well as researching establishment techniques, pruning methods, and plant growth modelling.
